Legacy, modernized

Two decades of trust, trapped in a dated site.

Salandria has been demolishing buildings across Toronto since 2002. They've worked on some of the city's most complex commercial projects, high-rises, industrial sites, infrastructure jobs that require deep expertise in safety, environmental compliance, and operational scale.

Their reputation in the Toronto procurement community was rock-solid. Their website? A different story. Buried in outdated layouts, hard to navigate on mobile, and built before half of their target customers had ever conducted vendor research online. Procurement teams, the people who actually book demolition contracts, couldn't find what they needed without picking up the phone.

The challenge: modernize the digital presence without losing the gritty, industrial legacy that built the company. This couldn't look like a startup. It needed to look like exactly what Salandria is, a trusted, experienced, no-nonsense Toronto institution with the technical chops to handle anything.

Industrial design, B2B content.

We started with the customer journey, not the visuals. The questions we needed to answer for every visitor:

  • Can Salandria handle a job of my size and complexity?
  • What's their safety record? Their certifications? Their insurance?
  • Can I see comparable projects they've completed?
  • How fast can I get a quote, and what info do they need from me?
In B2B, the brief beats the brochure. Procurement teams don't want to be wowed, they want to be informed.

Visually, we built a system that leans into the industrial reality of demolition: bold typography, structured layouts, raw photography of actual job sites, and a color palette pulled from concrete, steel, and equipment yellow. No stock photos. No "we are passionate about" copy. Just facts, projects, and clear paths to a quote.

A site that earned the legacy.

Deliverables

Refreshed brand system (rugged, industrial, B2B-credible)
Custom WordPress site with project portfolio CMS
Service category pages for residential, commercial, and industrial demolition
Project case studies with before/after documentation
Streamlined quote request workflow (5 fields, mobile-optimized)
Local SEO optimization for Toronto + GTA service areas
Custom photography from active job sites
Trust signals: certifications, insurance, decades-active markers

The quote request flow was the single most important conversion mechanic. We rebuilt it from a generic contact form with 12 fields into a streamlined 5-field form (project type, location, scope, timeline, contact) that actually got submitted. Mobile completions tripled within 30 days of launch.

A digital presence that matched the company.

The new Salandria.com launched in late 2022 and immediately changed the firm's digital trajectory. Quote requests through the website increased 264% in the first six months. Organic traffic to B2B service pages quadrupled. The firm now ranks #1 for "Toronto demolition" and dominates the map pack across the GTA.

But the bigger win was internal: the sales team stopped fielding tire-kicker calls and started converting qualified procurement inquiries. Average project size submitted through the website is meaningfully larger than what the old form was attracting.

Over two decades of legacy, finally communicated digitally.
