Why do I need strategy if I already have a marketing plan?

A plan is a list of activities. A strategy is the rationale for choosing those activities over others. Most "marketing plans" are tactical calendars without a clear strategic foundation, which is why they fail to compound. We build the foundation first.

How is this different from a brand strategy?

Brand strategy defines who you are. Marketing strategy defines how you get customers. They overlap, and we often do both, but they answer different questions.

Will the strategy be specific or generic?

Can we start with strategy and add execution later?

How much does the founder participate?
